Seems like Liu Bolin and his visual optical illusion of the Great Wall isn’t something unique after all. However, if last time we had a chap, today we have a lass, and we have to say that unlike Liu Bolin’s illusions, well, miss Emma Hack body paint. And this made us have a hard time finding an illusion that wouldn’t require us to put an “I’m above 18” button on our site.
What to see?
At first glance, you have the impression that you’re seeing simple wallpaper. But, as you look towards the low left, you can see how there’s a small alligator, and if you look even more carefully, you can distinguish the silhouette of a woman holding the alligator who’s also partially masked in the background.
How it works?
It’s quite easy. You simply take some buckets of body paint, then you wait for a couple of hours until someone paints you so that you’re the same with the background you’re going to take the picture on. Needless to say, it takes a lot of work, but it’s well worth it in an end, or at least this in our humble opinion.
In other words, our eyes are always tricked by images that are camouflaged, isn’t it? And we tend to miss them – which is the basis of some great visual optical illusions, like the ones that Emma Hack creates. Check her art online, and you’re going to find plenty of very juicy, nasty and artsy optical illusions.
